BFI APPOINT TWO NEW MEMBERS

THE BRITISH Film Institute (bfi) have appointed two Member Governors to their Board of Governors following an election among the bfi membership.
Ray Deahl, who is serving his second term as a Member Governor, and Alan Frank, who is new to the board, will represent member interests. The board has 15 members and is chaired by the writer and broadcaster Joan Bakewell CBE.
The next election for a member will be in 2002.
The bfi membership comprises members of the National Film Theatre on London’s South Bank, annual passholders of the bfi’s National Library and subscribers to Sight and Sound magazine.
