Grampian appoint new board member

Grampian Television have appointed a key member of staff at the University of Abertay Dundee to their Regional Board of Directors.
Jackie McKenzie, who is the Graduate Enterprise Manager with Embreonix, joins the board with immediate effect.
Embreonix is Abertay University’s graduate enterprise programme, which supports entrepreneurial graduates and students to turn their business ideas into reality.
Stirling-born McKenzie was educated in Orkney and graduated with an MA in English - International Relations from St. Andrews University.
She has a broad range of experience in tourism, economic development and charity marketing. McKenzie also established her own consultancy business prior to joining Abertay three years ago to set up the graduate enterprise and incubator programme, which supports student enterprises.
“I am delighted to join Grampian’s Regional Board at this exciting time in the station’s development. I hope to add value by being reflective of the views of Grampian’s audience in Tayside and North East Fife,” she said.
Grampian Board Chairman Dr Calum MacLeod said: “I am pleased to welcome Jackie McKenzie to the Board of Directors. Her business and academic experience, and her knowledge of our vast transmission area, will be of great value to the company.”
