Daniel Danker Becomes BBCS&PP Board Member

Daniel Danker, general manager of programmes and on demand at the BBC’s Future Media division, has joined BBC Studios and Post Production (BBCS&PP) as a non-executive board member.
He is responsible for the strategy and delivery of BBC’s iPlayer, Radio & Music and Red Button products, working in partnership with the BBC’s editorial teams. He also delivers underlying platforms for media, social, blogging, television, and mobile experiences across the BBC Online product portfolio and is a member of the Future Media Group Board.
Danker brings a deep knowledge of television platforms and content delivery to BBC S&PP that are not only applicable to its Studios and Post Production business, but also to the future development of its Digital Media Services division which provides the latest technology and an experienced team to support customers across a full range of digital archiving, restoration, delivery and duplication activities.
