TREVOR FRANCIS JOINS QUANTEL

TREVOR Francis, one of the team responsible for researching, specifying and introducing the first all-digital tapeless news operation at ITN has been appointed Business Manager - News at Quantel, and will take charge of their News Systems.
Francis said: “Having played a central role in the selection, installation and implementation of Inspiration at ITN, I was thrilled to be offered the chance to share this knowledge and experience with news broadcasters around the world.”
Francis’ experience of the digital news revolution with the Quantel Inspiration system at ITN positions him ideally to guide development and strategy of news systems within Quantel, and to pass this experience on to the increasing base of Quantel news systems users around the world.
