BOURNEMOUTH GAIN QUANTEL ACCREDITATION
QUANTEL have announced that the Bournemouth Media School have acquired accreditation to offer training on Quantel equipment within their media course.
The school have had strong links with the industry, with students taking on exacting assignments to a professional level as part of their studies, and the connection with Quantel will enable the students to acquire further specialist abilities.
Denise Lawton, Quantel Education and Training Officer, said: “Bournemouth Media School has an excellent reputation as one of the top centres for media training. We are delighted that they have chosen to attain Quantel accreditation and give their students the opportunity of training on Quantel equipment.”
Jill Quest of the Bournemouth Media School said: “Quantel equipment is generally regarded as an industry ‘must have’, therefore for our students to gain experience with the systems before going out into the marketplace is a huge bonus. With these extra skills and level of confidence under their belts, our students are well prepared for future employment opportunities.”
During the course of their studies, students are placed with media organisations and many graduates enter into highly regarded organisations such as the BBC, CNN and Industrial Light & Magic. (CD)
