Paul McGann to help Belfast media students

'Monocled Mutineer' and 'Hornblower' star Paul McGann is to return to Belfast on April 2 to help students from across Ireland looking for a career in film and television.
McGann will join representatives of UK television industry training organisation Skillset on the opening day of the 24th Celtic Film and Television Festival, which comes to Belfast for the first time this year.
Students from across Ireland will have the chance to ask the star how best to enter the industry, whether to apply for further courses, and how to improve their chances of making it in the industry. McGann is the ideal person to answer these queries, with experience covering two decades at the top in film and television.
Festival producer, Jude Sharvin, said: "Paul has given endlessly of his time over the past five years helping young people from across Ireland gain a foothold in the industry. There are few professionals that are both willing and able to draw on such a well of experience from all aspects of the industry for the benefit of the next generation of actors, writers and producers."
