OXTEL IMAGESTORES SELECTED BY TVE

SPANISH national public broadcaster TVE has installed a further eight Imagestore Master controls and channel branding systems from Oxtel.
Neil Sharpe, Marketing Manager at Oxtel, the Oxforshire based manufacturer of professional audio and video products, said: “Spain is one of Oxtel’s largest export markets within Europe, and this latest order from TVE is continuing the company’s expansion into the region.”
This Oxtel system will be used to brand TVE’s international transmissions to Europe, America and Asia. The new Imagestores, with integral digital audio mixers and servers and in-vision clocks, will be installed at Madrid, Barcelona, and the Canary Islands, where they will be used for channel branding, including the insertion of logos, programme schedules, and viewing category information with associated audio playout.
This now brings the total number of Imagestores at TVE to 15 systems. The existing system at TVE's operation in Torrespana in Madrid comprises seven installed Imagestores driven by Louth automation software.
In its entry-level configuration, Imagestore operates as a two-layer image inserter with image library.
However, the networkable system can be expanded to provide video and audio mixing, audio storage, in-vision clock insertion, a DVE, and character generation.
