Norway’s TV2 chooses MicroX for Zebra launch

Norway’s TV2 has purchased a number of Duet MicroX graphics systems from Chyron Corporation.
The technology was supplied to Norway’s most popular commercial broadcaster by Video 4, Chyron’s longstanding Norwegian dealer.
TV2, privately-owned and headquartered in Bergen, with additional offices and studios in Oslo, has installed the first of the systems to provide high quality, easy-to-use graphics for TV2 Zebra, which carries a mixture of youth programming and live sports. The graphics system is tightly integrated with the automation, in tune with TV2’s desire for the overall infrastructure to be able to be operated in a highly automated manner. The purchase of additional MicroX systems allows for future expansion as and when required.
Duet MicroX is Chyron’s single-channel CG that packs big Duet LeX power into a compact 2 RU chassis. Advanced engineering, coupled with Chyron’s award-winning Lyric® graphics application make Duet MicroX an ideal, cost effective solution for studio and mobile live broadcast and production operations.
At TV2 the systems are integrated with Pro-Bel’s Morpheous Automation system with its MediaBall concept, which allows operators to easily control onscreen text and graphics content from the schedule’s secondary events.
