Deadline approaching for Berlinale Talent Campus applications

The deadline for the Berlinale Talent Campus in association with Skillset is November 1.
From February 11 to 16, 2006, the global film industry will descend on Berlin for the Berlinale Talent Campus as part of the 56th Berlin International Film Festival.
During the Talent Campus 500 young film industry professionals from all over the world will have the opportunity to learn from film industry heavyweights.
There is no participation fee and participants from foreign countries will receive free accommodation and a contribution towards their travel expenses.
Skillset want young professionals or advanced students in one of the following areas:
  • Editing
  • Screenwriting
  • Producing
  • Directing
  • Cinematography
  • Acting
  • Sound design
  • Composing
  • Art Direction
  • Production Design

Previous delegates have included Ridley Scott, Anthony Minghella and Dennis Hopper, so make sure you're rubbing shoulders with the right people at the Talent Campus and give your film career the kick-start it needs.
Skillset, the skills council for the UK audio visual sector says it wants to encourage as many aspiring filmmakers as possible to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity which is open to 500 participants each year.
