IPK BROADCAST WILL KEEP IN TUNE
IAN KINLOCH and Co (IPK) of Reading, Berkshire, have been awarded the contract to install and commission part of the new facility for ‘The Box Music Television Channel’ situated near Oxford Street, London.
The installation includes four Edit Suites and The Central Apparatus Room, with dubbing and duplication facilities, together with a new transmission desk. The installation will enable the facility to be expanded further as and when required and with minimal disruption.
In obtaining the contract IPK have agreed to complete the installation to a tight timescale so that the transmission suffers no loss during the transfer from its current to the new location.
This has been helped by IPK’s capability to pre-fabricate much of the equipment at their Reading factory, ensuring the equipment is assembled correctly and keeping time on site to a minimum.
Also designed and manufactured by IPK are the associated products including Mains Distribution Units Standard and Dual Input, VTR Trays, Panels, Patch Panels, Enclosures and all types of built-to-purpose units.
