Bentley Walker selects Inmedia with iDirect for Hub Services

Leveraging its iDirect hub services, Inmedia is to act as a host network operator for Bentley Walker, one of the industry’s most successful operators of two-way VSAT broadband services.
Bentley Walker’s StarCom iDirect service runs on high-powered ku-band satellites AM22 and Hellas-Sat to serve Europe and the Middle East from one of Inmedia’s London teleports.
“Working with Inmedia has allowed us to expand our services rapidly to meet growing demand for enterprise quality broadband. Inmedia’s experience in VSAT technology like iDirect has been a great advantage,” said Bentley Walker Managing Director Anthony Walker.
Inmedia’s head of sales for enterprise services James Trevelyan added: “With over ten years’ experience managing large, private VSAT networks, a move into running iDirect HNO services for virtual operators was a natural step. The VNO concept is an ideal model for Bentley Walker and its Starcom iDirect product looks set to be yet another successful venture.”
