IQ MAKES UK DEBUT AT QUANTEL ROADSHOW

THE QUANTEL iQ will be on show for the first time in the UK at the Langham Hilton in London on February 19 and 20.
A series of ‘Quantel Inviting’ roadshows will offer an informal look at iQ and Quantel’s thinking for the post and broadcast environment.
Alongside iQ will be Editbox FX premiering its latest software release, Clipbox Studio, Quantels’s new server specifically designed for live studio production and the latest version of Paintbox FX.
Nigel Turner, Quantel Marketing Director, said: “Over the last six months, we have totally re-engineered our product range, and over half of the products we sell are newly introduced. This is a chance for the UK and continental Europe to see the progress we have made and assess at first hand the potential for all our products in the post and broadcast industries.”
Now fully in production, iQ combines the openness of a standard platform with the power of Quantel’s hardware to offer a unique solution to the need for multi-resolution post production. With unrivalled working, iQ offers an integrated working environment which improves workflow throughout a facility. Editbox FX, with its eight super-layers as standard, will be working alongside iQ and showing faster than real-time networking with Clipnet.
Clipbox Studio struck gold at the Sydney Olympics at Channel 7’s broadcast operations. Clipbox Studio offers a host of features adding value to any studio production enabling on-the-fly resizing, loop recording and the production of live on-air composites.
After London, the ‘Quantel Inviting’ roadshow moves on to Paris, Madrid, Rome and Munich. (CD)
