ATG SPECTRUM COMPLETE INSTALLATION FOR LIP SYNC

ATG Spectrum, independent broadcast systems integrators, have recently completed systems design and installation for Lip Sync Post's new post production premises in 123 Wardour Street, Soho, London.
The new Lip Sync facility houses a sound department consisting of six studios including two Dolby approved cinema dubbing theatres, two 5.1 studios for TV and DVD, and two recording studios, all equipped with AMS Neve Digital Mixing Consoles. Also installed are two track lay rooms, nine broadcast standard editing suites and a graphics facility.
The dubbing areas, editing rooms and graphics facilities are all co-ordinated by the central area infrastructure, designed and installed by ATG Spectrum, based on audio consoles specified by Lip Sync Post.
Peter Hampden, Director of Lip Sync Post, said: "Our requirements for the new post production facilities were specific and it was essential that the system should be flexible and future proofed as far as possible. Having worked with ATG Spectrum on a previously successful installation at Dean Street two years ago, it was an easy decision to make to use their professional services again."
The central area houses all the shared resources, including VT's, telecine, video and audio format conversion equipment.
All facilities are networked using high-speed Cat 7 trunking, fibre optics, and conventional SDI routing. (CD)
