DRAMA AWARD DELIGHTS POST-PRODUCTION TEAM AT PICARDY

A DRAMA edited and dubbed by Picardy Media Group won the ‘Best Regional Programme Award’ at the coveted Royal Television Society Awards Ceremony in London.
The romantic mystery ‘I Saw You’ directed by Ewan Morrison and produced by David Muir for Umbrella Productions was transmitted recently on Scottish Television. It won through against ‘Chewin The Fat’ from BBC and an HTV drama ‘Just Desserts’.
`I Saw You’ was edited at Picardy by Chris Barwell last year and dubbed at Waterfront – Picardy’s sound production facility – by Chris Sinclair.
Their individual hard work, as well as Picardy’s commitment to the project, has been commended by Ewan Morrison.
The drama was shot from the perspective of a CCTV security guard in Glasgow city centre, 22 hours of original material was translated into the 25 minute drama with some 500 cuts. The RTS award is a prestigious accolade to that creative ambition. (CD)
