APT FILMS SCOOP RTS AWARD

APT FILMS have announced that ‘Losing Touch’ has scooped a Royal Television Society (RTS) Student Award for ‘Best Drama’.
‘Losing Touch’ was directed last year by Sarah Gavron, produced by APT Films director Jonny Persey and written by Antonia Baldo while they were all studying at the National Film and Television School.
APT Films are developing feature film ‘The Anarchists’ with the same team with a view to shooting next summer.
APT's ‘The Girl in the Lay-By’ won ‘Best Short Film’ at Spain's International Film Festival of Las Palmas. Also directed by Sarah Gavron and produced by Jonny Persey, ‘Girl in the Lay-By’ was the first of nine short films made by APT over the last twelve months.
APT Films' Oscar nominated feature, ‘Solomon and Gaenor’, written and directed by Paul Morrison, won the Spirit of the Festival Award for ‘Best Film’ at the Celtic Film Festival. (CD)
