MADE IN WALES DIRECTORY NOW IN PRODUCTION

THE 2001-2002 edition of the Made in Wales directory is currently being produced by the European Union’s MEDIA Plus office in Cardiff, with the support of Sgrin, the Welsh Independent Producers and the Welsh Development Agency.
The directory will contain a detailed list of Welsh audiovisual companies working in film, television and multimedia. It will also contain information on media support organisations and broadcasters.
In order to reflect the ever-changing face of the media industry in Wales, the directory this year will be presented in a new and more informative style with several pages of colour stills incorporated, providing a showcase of contemporary Welsh talent from the well known commercial successes to lesser known projects.
This years directory is intended for foreign producers and distributors seeking partnerships with Welsh companies and vice versa. It provides information on Welsh achievements in the areas of film, TV and multimedia production and is intended to stimulate international partnerships.
The directory will be distributed at trade fairs and festivals world-wide in the hope of promoting Wales as a dynamic venue for film-making and to encourage more co-productions between Wales and other countries. (CD)
