Connectix partner with Salford Computer and Training Services

Connectix, the technology and market leader in virtualisation software for Windows based computing, have announced a partnership with Salford Computing & Training Services (SCTS) – a company of the University of Salford.
Under this agreement, STCS uses Connectix Virtual PC for Windows to create a unique and powerful virtual machine solution known as ‘DS Clinic’. By using Virtual PC, DS Clinic will enable users to run Novell NetWare as part of a comprehensive training programme on Windows-based PCs. This powerful solution will enable commercial training centres, educational facilities and institutions alike to immediately benefit from significant cost savings by eliminating the need to invest heavily in costly hardware.
