Marquis Media Partners, University Of Salford Announce New Partnership
Marquis Media Partners (MMP) and the University of Salford have announced a new partnership.
The announcement is part of a continuing expansion strategy by both organisations, and will see MMP partners and associates work alongside the university's School of Arts and Media to deliver tailor-made packages of skills training and change consultancy to broadcasters across the globe.
"This is a significant step forward for both organisations," said Professor Allan Walker, the School's Dean. "As well as working together on projects, including a current contract in the Far East, we can jointly leverage our industry contacts to win new business opportunities."
Emma Clifford, MMP's lead partner for the initiative, added: "Salford has a great history of working with industry. It already shares its Media City campus with the BBC, ITV and Dock 10 and is fifth in the country for industry engagement. We believe we can help Salford build on that excellent record with the range services we can provide together. These will include developing new business strategies, delivering change management on-site, tackling workspace issues, helping to engage staff and providing great training."
"International broadcasters are going through major transformational change and that needs first class skills training plus the right infrastructure for success," commented Professor Abigail Gregory, Salford's Associate Dean, Internationalisation, who is responsible for leading its global business initiative. "MMP and Salford can now provide a unique proposition to help these organisations succeed."
