DoubleBand Films working on new production for RTE

Northern Ireland production company DoubleBand Films is currently producing a major one-hour documentary on Irish republican figurehead Joe Cahill for RTE's ‘Hidden History strand’.
Up until his death last July, Belfast man Cahill was central to various armed campaigns by the IRA, as well as the peace process that led to the Good Friday Agreement of 1994, and this documentary will take a comprehensive and detailed look at his life.
‘Hidden History: Joe Cahill’ is due for transmission on RTE1 on December 7.
The documentary, which DoubleBand is working on with Dublin-based journalist Susan McKay, is being produced by Dermot Lavery and directed by Jonathan Golden.
