Sundance Digital names Gencom Technology Master Distributor

Robert C. Johnson, president of Sundance Digital, the award-winning provider of high-performance broadcast automation software solutions, has named Gencom Technology as their Master Distributor for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
“We are delighted to partner with Gencom, a well established company whose values so closely reflect our own,” said Johnson. “Gencom is focused on furnishing clients with the most current and appropriate technology for each project, a philosophy long embraced by Sundance Digital. We are pleased that our customers will benefit from Gencom’s superior standards.”
Gencom Technology is a privately owned New Zealand based engineering firm specialising in providing the latest technology to the broadcast, multimedia and telecommunications sectors. Founded in 1969, the Company enjoys a position as a leading independent supplier and systems integrator in the region. Gencom maintains seven offices and a complete staff of engineers, designers, installers, sales people, and administrative personnel to fully support its commitment to bring the most innovative products to market.
"Before partnering with Sundance, Gencom made a thorough study of automation suppliers,” said Ray Sanders, Gencom’s Managing Director. “We concluded that Sundance provided the best combination of features and value for the money, but above all a supportive attitude befitting our markets. Our experience of working with Sundance has validated our initial conclusions."
Sundance Digital and Gencom have already worked together to furnish Maori Television – a broadcast operation located in Auckland, New Zealand – with a powerful FastBreak Automation system. Maori Television was recently established by the national government to revitalise the indigenous Maori peoples' language and culture.
