Pathfire and Sundance sign technology licensing agreement

Pathfire, provider of digital content distribution and management solutions for the broadcast television industry, have announced a technology agreement with Sundance Digital, specialists in high-performance broadcast automation software solutions.
The agreement will enable broadcasters to fully automate the movement of syndicated and spot content, all the way from receipt to air.
Under terms of the agreement, Pathfire are licensing their Digital Media Gateway (DMG) Automation Connect protocol to Sundance so they can provide seamless integration between Pathfire systems and the full suite of Sundance Digital's automation systems. The two companies will jointly market their respective solutions.
“We are pleased to align Pathfire and Sundance technologies so that we can help broadcasters transform and automate their content workflow hands-free and error-free end to end,” said Jamie Meyer, Pathfire Product Manager for Stations and Groups.
