This Scotland 2004 relaunched for fourth season
Scottish Television, Grampian Television and Scottish Screen have launched the fourth year of the award winning and highly successful documentary production scheme, This Scotland.
For 2004, This Scotland has commissioned 12 half-hour television documentaries for broadcast on Grampian TV and Scottish TV in the summer and autumn. This year’s excellent line-up includes a wide range of subjects produced by some of the best new talent in Scotland today.
From Afro hair salons and stand up comedy, to an exploration of Scottish identity, this year’s This Scotland promises to provide a mix of original, thought-provoking and innovative programmes for viewers of all ages.
Steve McIntyre, Chief Executive, Scottish Screen said: “This Scotland is a most innovative documentary scheme which over the four years of its existence has explored an amazing range of subjects covering every aspect of Scottish life. We are delighted to work with Scottish TV and Grampian TV to bring such a varied and interesting series to the screen.”
