SANYO LAUNCH NEW WIDE SCREEN PROJECTOR

SANYO, ONE of the world’s leading electronic manufacturers, have launched a new wide screen projector to provide users with more choice when selecting a cinema projector for the small cinema environment.
Sanyo’s PLV-60 is ideal for professional cinema applications, such as those needed by the broadcast or film industries, where top quality cinematic sound and vision is essential.
A true wide-screen projector, the PLV-60 is designed to enhance the cinema viewing experience. Because the LCD panels themselves are in genuine 16:9 format, the highest possible picture quality of the 16:9 images is guaranteed, as the PLV-60 doesn’t have to artificially create this aspect ratio as the case with almost all other projectors.
1200 ANSI Lumens ensures that the level of brightness offered by the PLV-60 exceeds the levels traditionally associated with smaller cinema environments, whilst an operating noise output of just 37db means that the projector is almost inaudible in the small cinema environment.
Zoom focus and lens shift are features which are traditionally associated with high specification projectors, but they are standard on the PLV-60 which ensures that images can be positioned easily and accurately on the screen with minimal effort. Digital keystone correction can correct an image that is up to 20 degrees off parallel.
3D progressive scan circuitry provides crisper, sharper on-screen image whilst Sanyo’s high contrast optical system ensures perfect colour match for the projected image.
The PLV-60 projects with superior image quality and a contrast ratio of 700:1 ensures that colours are not washed out and remain strong on the screen. (CD)
