ENTV moves to IDX Endura

IDX Technology Europe has received a large order for ENTV, the national broadcaster in Algeria.
The order, placed with Studiotech, one of IDX's Belgian distributors, is for Endura batteries, chargers and V-mount plates. The equipment represents a move away from the older chemistry and mounting system of NiCd and BP-style batteries to Lithium Ion and the popular V-mount system. It was only after careful evaluation of all major battery manufacturers that IDX was chosen.
The order includes 100 E-80 batteries with PowerLink for extending run times, and 50 VL-2Plus sequential chargers/power supplies. These are for use with ENG cameras some of which already have V-mounts. For those that do not, V-mount plates have been included in the order so all cameras can directly use the new batteries.
