SUCCESSFUL DIGITAL VIDEO SHOW IN WESTON
THE first Digital Video Show which took place in Weston-super-Mare near Bristol on October 2-3 has proved a big success.
When they took over the Show earlier this year, the organisers, the Cardiff-based production company, The Genesis Media Group, announced their aim of increasing the number of TV professionals attending. Many of the exhibitors have said that aim was achieved as they reported good business.
Several of the companies selling goods directly to customers at the show also reported increased sales on previous similar shows.
Genesis' Alan Torjussen said: "Our decision to greatly increase the advertising spend in the broadcast press paid off. Our front banner on the 4RFV website proved one of several important links for visitors and we are already planning our publicity campaign for next year's show. In addition to being a TV and corporate video production company, Genesis is a PR agency so The Digital Video Show is a good opportunity for all our team to work together to create something really successful."
