Broadcast Video Production Show Returns

The Broadcast Video Production Show is back for 2016.

There will also be a number of seminars and master classes held over the two-day show. They include:

• Drone Regulation – with Paul Kennedy of the Irish Aviation Authority
An overview of the regulations associated with Drone registration and operations, including a demonstration of the Irish Aviation Authority online tool which can be used to determine when and where you can fly your drone.

• Sennheiser AVX – on the new wireless standard in Audio for Video
'Wireless Audio, why AVX?' – Martin Fitzpatrick Channel Systems Sales manager Sennheiser Ltd, talks about 'Sennheiser AVX – the new wireless standard in Audio for Video'

• Canon Visual Storytelling with Simeon Quarrie (Canon Explorer)
Simeon will share his approach to visual storytelling. Refusing to stand still, Simeon is constantly innovating and evolving with the needs of his clients – expect the unexpected as he shares insights into his techniques getting the most out of cameras ranging from EOS DSLRs to C300 Mk11 to create a truly inspiring event.

• Drones, Training & Regulation – with Captain Sean McCarthy from ifly Technology
Captain Sean McCarthy has a background in military aviation, flying both fixed wing and rotary aircraft. He holds an honours degree in management and aviation studies. Sean has served overseas in the public relations office of the United Nations mission in the DR Congo.

• A Masterclass on EDIUS editing software
Steve Wyse and Donal Jennings will be presenting a 'how to' on editing a multi camera wedding video and enhancing to footage with EDIUS fast colour grading and mask tracking tools.

• What's New from NAB?
Jon Hubury, product manager with HOLDAN Ltd, will discuss all the latest products showcased at NAB 2016, from manufacturers including BlackMagicDesign, Datavideo, Panasonic and more.

• History of Zeiss lens
Luke Tait, Sales and development Executive at ZEISS, will provide a brief outline of the history and portfolio of the Zeiss group. This will be followed by a presentation on the current line-up of lens families, from the Touit up to the Compact zoom range. There will also be a practical demonstration of some of the unique features the lenses feature, followed by a Q & A.

• JVC Professional – Danielle Eyre, Sales Manager with JVC Professional
Danielle will discuss the features of the new GY-HM620 and GY-HM660 which were recently announced at NAB 2016. This session will provide visitors with the information to get the most out of these innovative offerings.

• HDR Video – What It Is, Why You Want It and Its Future by Leader Electronics
Kevin Salvidge, European Regional Development Manager, will discuss the ins and outs of High Dynamic Range.
