Free Range Television goes fully digital

Free Range Television (FRT), the long-standing Westcountry based production and facilities company, has recently re-equipped with the latest DV-CAM equipment, including the Sony DSR-570 camcorder and studio DV-CAM Recorder/player.
Ray Memmott, Managing Director, said: “With so many of our productions ending up on DVD, wide-screen is essential and gives so much more creative potential. Also, the digital formats integrate so well with our Avid online edit suite.”
All the new equipment was purchased from LRC Broadcast in London.

Free Range Television, established in 1989, has been a leading production and facilities company in the South West for many years, providing facilities to Carlton and Westcountry Television and offering a high-quality corporate production service.
Recently, Free Range have completed a television commercial for Homestyle blinds by Vantana. This is currently being shown on Scottish television with plans for a network version in the Summer. The commercial was shot on Digibeta by leading cameraman Chris Setchell.
