Film skills masterclass to be held in Newport, Wales

Simon Relph CBE is to hold a masterclass in Newport, Wales, on the money-raising and management skills required to make feature films.
An independent producer since 1981, Relph has made a number of highly successful films including ‘Privates on Parade’, ‘The Ploughman's Lunch’, ‘Wetherby’ and ‘Comrades’.
After five years as the founding Chief Executive of British Screen Finance Limited, during which he co-financed 57 films, Relph returned to independent production in 1991.
He has recently produced ‘The Land Girls’, directed by David Leland and was executive producer of ‘Hideous Kinky’, directed by Gilles Mackinnon.
This event is sponsored by the Wales Spinout Programme.
