Rushes completes Czech 'Oskar' commercial

Rushes have completed new commercial for Oskar, the newest and fastest growing mobile operator in the Czech Republic.
The commercial, directed by David Slade, follows three characters as they run at high speed from different locations. One character charges through the centre of beautiful European city, another speeds through the outskirts of an inner city wasteland to a large landfill site and the final character runs out of a remote cottage and into the surrounding dense forest until he reaches a clearing.
Gasping for air, the three runners come to a halt and opening their mouths, as if crying out at the top of their voices, they create a turbulent disturbance around them. In the city, the girl’s cry overturns a car and the street is awash with newspapers that seem to be driven by the force of a strong wind. At the landfill site the surrounding junk lifts from the earth and a car hovers above the ground while a small boy looks on at the chaos. In a forest clearing the third character’s cry uproots trees causing them to float in the air and around him. The commercial cuts between each scenario until the disturbance appears to reach a crescendo and dies down.
Cutting back to landfill site we focus on the small boy, who seems calm and unaffected by what has taken place. After a moment he opens his mouth as if he is about to let out a similar cry to the other characters and we know what will happen next. The spot cuts to black and the endline reads ‘Nothing Should Stop You Speaking Your Mind.’
Rushes Duncan Malcolm said: "David should be congratulated on how much he managed to achieve in camera, it's a fantastically shot commercial and, as ever, it was great to work with him and his team. Our main task was enhancing what had been shot to create an incredibly realistic commercial and we're very proud of the results."
