The Pixel Farm release PFMatch matchmoving application

The Pixel Farm, a new company focused on innovation in the field of high-end digital post-production, has announced the release of their new low cost match moving application, PFMatch.
Originating from the same industry leading tracking algorithms as PFTrack, PFMatch is aimed at the single desktop user, such as architects and video makers, and offers a number of features from the PFTrack application, therefore providing a low cost solution for those who require occasional matchmoving facilities but not the rich feature set and cross facility production tools of PFTrack,
In addition to its matchmove capabilities, PFMatch is also designed to work with other Pixel Farm products, such as the forthcoming 3D Geometry reconstruction application, PFBarn. On a larger scale, projects originally created in PFMatch can be transferred into PFTrack, so giving users access to greatly enhanced functionality and additional workflow tools.
“With PFMatch we are providing users with a comprehensive match moving environment that is faster and more cost effective than anything currently in the market. With the release of PFTrack 1.5 in December 2003, we have pushed tracking to new levels and using the same under lying technologies we are now able to offer a complete solution for desktop projects at a price point not usually associated with this type of application,” said Michael Lancaster, Product director of The Pixel Farm.
