Martin Stanford Joins Celebro Media Advisory Board
Martin Stanford has joined Celebro Media's advisory board as a Technology Specialist.
Mr Stanford worked for Sky News between 1991 and 2016 and was recognised as the master of its trademark video wall, particularly when it came to reporting big data occasions such as Elections or analysis of Budget Day. Martin was also a pioneer in devising and perfecting sequences in virtual studios, and using tablets to put more control of graphics and video into the hands of anchors and presenters.
As Celebro Media expands its current and future facilities, Martin will be closely involved with developing new technology at its Central London, US and Russian based studios, in addition to new programme formats for its growing international client base.
Martin joins fellow news channel anchor Maxine Mawhinney who was appointed Chair of the new Board in September 2017.
Martin said: "Celebro are at the cutting edge of today's media production. They have embraced the move away from SDI to IP, and are already exploring the possibilities thrown up by remote production for news and current affairs programming."
"Martin's experience of live news broadcasting and tech background will help the Celebro team further understand what our clients need on a day-to-day basis and in the future," added Wesley Dodd, CEO of Celebro Media. "He is a great addition to the team and we very much look forward to working closely on growing our studio facilities."
