SpaceCrate Brings Creativity To Any Location
Launched in June 2017, SpaceCrate is a professional spec, studio grade creative environment pre-fabricated and delivered ready to use.
Based on the worldwide standard 20" shipping container, SpaceCrate is simple and inexpensive to transport and deploy worldwide on a temporary or permanent basis.
Already in use on-set with major feature films, SpaceCrate can redefine the economic and creative possibilities of location post production. Whether used as expansion of facilities in periods of peak demand, or as an on-set resource in locations where no facilities exist, SpaceCrate can enable new ways of working and solve common scheduling challenges in support of a superior end-product on screen.
SpaceCrate's founders – Ben Nemes, Guy Wilson and Mike Watson – have been designing, equipping and installing high end creative spaces for clients at the pinnacle of the music and media industries for a combined total of over 75 years, never doing it the old fashioned way. They have consistently pioneered new and disruptive workflows, technology, infrastructure and design through their work with the world's pre-eminent post houses, recording studios, broadcasters and award-winning artists. This invaluable experience is encapsulated in SpaceCrate.
