EXTREME PRODUCTIONS SCOOPS PROGRAMME TRIO

NORTHERN Ireland based independent television company Extreme Production have announced a trio of new commissions for 2002.
The commissions include a second 6 x 30’ run of the hit animal welfare investigation series “Animals Undercover” for BBC NI, which proved to be huge viewing success on its first outing. Extreme has also been asked by Channel 4 to produce “Lisdoonvarna: Lourdes of Lurve,” unmasking Europe’s largest singles event taking place next September in the West of Ireland.
And it’s raw muscle power as some of the world’s strongest men do battle in “Clash of the Celtic Giants,” a 2 x 30’ series for BBC NI to be recorded at historic Glenarm Castle in July.
Extreme Executive Producer, David Malone, said: “It’s always good to win new business. But what means most to us is that the broadcasters have real confidence in the ability of our teams to deliver hit programmes.”
He added: “At the moment we are talking to several UK and Irish broadcasters about a number of exciting new shows for the year ahead.”
