Audio Network Selects Group CEO
Audio Network has appointed Robb Smith as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Smith joins the business from Studiocanal, where he held the role of Chief Operating Operator UK and Executive Vice President of Global Digital Strategy.
Smith will take up the position with immediate effect and will lead the company as it enters its next phase of international growth and implements its new digital strategy. Smith succeeds Chris Blakeston who stepped down from the role of CEO in April 2016 but continues to work with the company in an advisory role out of the London and New York offices.
Andrew Sunnucks, co-founder and Chairman of Audio Network, said: "Robb really is the perfect fit for us. He has a comprehensive knowledge of our core customers as well as a detailed understanding of the changing media landscape. He is passionate about music and shares our ambition to make Audio Network the best option for music users and composers alike."
