Anna Mallet Begins New CEO Role

Anna Mallett has started with BBC Studios and Post Production as their new Chief Executive Officer.
She reports to John Tate, Chairman of BBC Studios and Post Production and the BBC's Group Director of Policy and Strategy.
Anna takes over the reins from Clive Hodge who was fulfilling the role during an interim period. Clive will return to his role as Head of Digital Media Services at BBC Studios and Post Production.
She joins BBC S&PP at an exciting time in the company's history as it prepares to move out of Television Centre in early 2013 for an interim period at Elstree Studios, where its current offerings at BBC Elstree will be expanded with additional studio space at Elstree Studios. Its Digital Media Services division which preserves, re-masters and manages content is also preparing to relocate to a dedicated and permanent home in West London around the start of 2013.
Anna has been part of the BBC's senior leadership team since 2006. Since September 2008 she has been Controller of Business Strategy, responsible for the BBC's overall commercial strategy. She also developed the BBC's distribution strategy, ensuring the continuing accessibility and prominence of BBC content.
