Edifis announce 'Stingkey' key and fill system

Edifis have announced a major new development of their Sting digital disk recorder, adding key and fill features for broadcasters requiring high quality combined with no-compromise on-air reliability.
The result, StingKey, is a powerful system with an exceptionally wide range of applications including clip logging, highlights editing, and time delay. Among its features are simultaneous play and record, smooth slow-motion and easy integration with external equipment such as vision mixers and VTRs.
Based on the proven Edifis Sting video server, StingKey combines affordability with the stability of a full-broadcast specification operating system, free from the crashes so often caused by software/hardware conflicts in third-party computer-based solutions. An integral dual-channel clip-based disk recorder holds up to 20 hours of uncompressed digital video and audio.
Ruggedly built and occupying a compact 4 U, StingKey is designed for use in live studios or outside broadcast vehicles. Connections include three SDI video inputs and two SDI video outputs. Audio input is via two AES digital stereo channels and output on two AES digital stereo feeds. Control is via Ethernet 10 Base T.
