Rapid Pictures' MDs Become Co-Owners

Rapid Pictures, the West London based post-production facility, has announced that joint Managing Directors Elouise Carden and Ben Plumb have become co-owners of the facility, and will join the original company founders.

Elouise started her career in broadcast as an Account Manager for Emap before joining Rapid Pictures in 2005 as General Manager. During her 10 years at Rapid, the facility has doubled in size. Elouise oversees the running of Rapid Pictures, with special responsibility for HR and Marketing.

Prior to joining Rapid Pictures as Facility Manager in 2008, Ben held managerial positions at post facilities Clear-Cut and At It Productions. Since his appointment as Managing Director, Ben's main role has been to oversee the development of Rapid's technical infrastructure.

The appointments are part of an expansion strategy for Rapid Pictures, which includes doubling the number of suites and the integration of a 4K workflow.

Ben Plumb, Joint Managing Director, Rapid Pictures, added: "Elouise and I both have different skill sets in complementary areas, which helps us to work well together – we're always bouncing ideas off each other.
