Machine Shop provide hot SFX for Brit Awards

News Image
The Machine Shop team have successfully completed a variety of demanding of projects including a spectacular finale to the recent Brits Awards.
The company's specialist team at the Brits was able to produce a vast wall of flame in front of the 6000-strong audience. The pyrotechnic display of flames rising 20 feet high by 40 feet across next to the artistes was achieved in a constricted area and to strict health and safety regulations.
Machine Shop have also been working on such diverse things as building robots and animatronic ducks for a forthcoming film/pop promo to producing over-sized product models for chocolate and yoghurt commercials.
"With the need to produce such an array of different pieces we have needed a team of really skilled technicians and supervisors to ensure that all the clients were getting the attention that was required," said Paul Mann, Machine Shop's Managing Director.
"Fortunately we have an incredibly dedicated staff team and are able to draw upon the skills of the industry's freelance crews to complete our work. As everyone knows the skill base does move around from job to job and we are fortunate to attract some of the best-but we are always on the lookout for fresh blood in the team."
