Merchandising Manager joins CEL division of RTE

RTÉ have announced the appointment of Gary Mitchell as Merchandising Manager for the corporation's Commercial Enterprises division.
Mr Mitchell's most recent role was as National Manager & Artist Relations Manager in the music division of the Australian Broadcasting Company. Prior to that he worked with a number of record companies, including Virgin and Polydor Australia, where he was responsible for promotions and marketing manager.
The merchandising manager role at the CEL resources department will focus on building a cohesive pipeline of products for both the domestic and international markets.
RTÉ Commercial Enterprises offers a wide variety of videotapes, audiocassettes and compact discs for purchase. In addition to their archived material, the CEL division have also recently released a recording with four of Oscar Wilde's children's stories – 'Oscar Wilde: Children's Stories' – on CD/Cassette.
