Imagica Corp exhibits Imager XE scanner

Imagica Corp will exhibit their high-resolution Imager XE scanner in this year's NAB exhibition at booth S5134.
The scanner is capable of scanning 16 and 35mm film with resolution from 2K and 4K. The scanning speed for 35mm at 2K runs at four seconds and at 4K it achieves eight seconds per frame.
The Imager XE can work in the environment of Linux, Irix, or Windows. Imagica's scanner features the latest improvements, released at Siggraph 2001, which include a Pin Registered Gate – which is faster CCD clock speed.
The faster clock speed will increase both 2K and 4K scanning time, resulting in improved productivity.
Imagica Corp are one of the largest motion picture film laboratories in Japan, servicing 35/16 mm and 65/70 mm motion picture film processing and printing for major feature films, TV commercials and TV programs.
The company have one of the largest high-end video post-production facilities in Japan, servicing with more than 40 digital video editing bays, numbers of telecine bays and audio mixing studios.
