Pepper appoints Head of Quality Control

London-based post-production house Pepper have announced the appointment of Iain Cameron in the newly-created role of Head of Quality Control (QC).
Cameron joins Pepper from HIT Entertainment where he was Head of the Technical department, with the primary responsibility of ensuring the quality of broadcast materials coming in and going out of HIT.
Prior to this, Cameron held the position of Account Handler to HIT Entertainment at 4MC, involving similar responsibilities.
"The plethora of satellite and digital channels is increasing demand for back catalogue material, which must be of the highest quality," said Cameron.
"Pepper have seen an opportunity to fill this gap in the market by developing a department with the primary concern of offering quality control to producers and broadcasters. We can guarantee the existing quality or digitally re-master material using Pepper's in-house technology and talent."
Patrick Holzen, Managing Director of Pepper, said: "Pepper previously offered QC services but lacked the dedicated skills and resources that Iain brings to make it into a core service, as well as complementing our existing services."
Pepper's most recent broadcast credits include 'Midsomer Murders', 'London's Burning', 'South Bank Show', 'The Naked Chef' and 'Lenny Henry in Pieces'.
