Pixel Power integration solution for broadcast equipment

Pixel Power, at NAB booth L19577, have employed multiple enhancements and options to streamline the automation and playout of broadcast graphics using its established range of Clarity, Collage and Graphite character and graphics generators.
The RapidRecall keypad, designed for master control and live applications, gives access to stills, clips and character generator pages.
The new PixelBrowse image browser allows desktop viewing of still images across a network of Clarity, Collage and Graphite machines. PixelCOM is an easy to use COM object interface for RS232/422 or DCOM control of Pixel Power devices, simplifying links to external databases, documents and spreadsheets.
The RapidRecall keypad is designed for master control and live applications where operator space is at a premium. The keypad gives quick access to stills, clips and character generator pages while the four-line display provides the operator with specific information about the graphics and system status for air.
The keypad can be connected to any of Pixel Power's broadcast graphics products, including Collage Junior, Collage 2 Stills, Graphite 2 and Clarity. Multiple keypads can be connected to a single machine, permitting operation from several locations.
The PixelBrowse image browser automatically builds and maintains a Microsoft Access database of stills across a network of Clarity, Collage and Graphite machines. The database includes proxy browse images and can be made available to any standard desktop web browser using active server page technology - and so simplifying installation of the browser within a large organisation. The web-based viewer allows SQL search and display of text and picture information from the still database.
PixelPromo is a custom software application, which can be used in conjunction with Clarity character generators to automate channel branding and promotion. While importing data from a traffic system, it builds promo page sequences based on pre-defined templates on a batch basis. Playout of the promos is under timeline control and accepts triggers from Harris or other playout automation system.
