LNN choose Pixel Power's Clarity SD

Pixel Power have announced that LNN, provider of transmission facilities for the UK's prime independent broadcasters, has purchased its Clarity SD system, adding to the Pixel Power products already in use.
LNN is using the Clarity SD to run holder cell animations on the ITV1 Network feed, which are then re-broadcast by all ITV1 regions. The holder cell animation is used in the evening peak viewing times. It is a dynamic graphic, comprising of a cell animation that animates into the screen and holds. Then a pop-out wipe animates from it to the right, and the text fades in to let the viewers see what programmes are coming up next, which it then animates in reverse sequence off screen.
LNN is investigating the use of full-screen cell animations to free server capacity for the transmission of menus while channels such as ITV2 are off-air.
