VirtualStudio.TV Wins RAR Award
VirtualStudio.TV, a UK-based TriCaster customer, has won the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) Award in the TV/Video/Audio Production Category.
The awards, which took place in London on 23 April 2014, are part of an initiative of the RAR to help advise major corporations on Britain’s best creative agencies.
VirtualStudio.TV specialises in corporate videos and virtual events and uses NewTek TriCaster multi-camera live video production systems as the backbone of its virtual studio. Clients can choose to shoot in front of a green screen at VirtualStudio.TV’s Cambridge facility or at their own premises. TriCaster provides a wide variety of pre-loaded virtual sets that are customisable to add logos and branding. Producers can then stream the content live from TriCaster to a secure video hosting site, and recorded for future use.
Simon Malone, managing director, VirtualStudio.TV, said: "This is a major triumph for the company and a huge boost for our team. It goes to show that a small company with big ambitions can take on some of the most established companies in the country - and win.
"Most corporate video follows a pretty traditional approach, so we knew we were taking a gamble when we decided to do something completely different," he said. "To have our hard work recognised with a national award is just amazing. The team works hard to provide a great service, a unique service, and it’s fantastic to hear that our clients agree."
Carter Holland, chief marketing officer at NewTek added: "We are extremely proud that our equipment has helped VirtualStudio.TV win this prestigious award, demonstrating that big budgets are not necessary for the best results."
