Argosy Prepares For BroadcastAsia

Argosy, supplier of HD broadcast cables and studio infrastructure products, is to demonstrate a range of fibre management solutions at BroadcastAsia2014 (stand 5E2-01 British Pavilion, at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, 17-20 June 2014).

Featuring on thr Argosy stand will be the Neutrik opticalCON advanced tactical fibre assemblies, including the opticalCON Duo, opticalCON Quad and the debut of the latest addition to the range, the opticalCON MTP® connection systems.
The MTP offers a 12-channel fibre optic connection system for point-to-point multi-channel routing with a push/pull connector. The MTP connection system offers an end-to-end solution with rugged outer-jackets for harsh environments, making it suitable for OB applications.

Also forming part of the demonstrations at BroadcastAsia is the IEC-Lock mains cable, which incorporates a locking mechanism to fasten it to the earth pin. The connector features a red button that must be depressed to unlock the lead. This added feature aims to help secure critical equipment from mains failure and is suitable for equipment on sliding rack trays or in OB vehicles. The IEC-lock mains cables are offered in 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m and 5m lengths. Available in orange and blue, the PVC mains cable has a 7mm outside diameter and rated at 10 amps with a pre-terminated standard Male IEC connector one end and a lockable Female IEC connector on the other.
