EIFF offers sneak preview of film line-up

The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), which takes place on August 13 to August 24, has released a sneak preview of the wide selection of films on offer this year.
The full programme will launch on Wednesday 9 July, with all details available from the EIFF’s website www.edfilmfest.org.uk.
Some of the highlights will include ‘Swimming Pool’, directed by Francois Ozon, France 2003 and starring Charlotte Rampling, Ludivine Sagnier and Charles Dance; ‘In America’, directed by Jim Sheridan, Ireland-UK 2002 and starring Samantha Morton and Paddy Considine; ‘A Decade under the Influence’, directed by Richard LaGravenese & Ted Demme; ‘The Bookshop’, written and directed by Nawfel Saheb-Etteba, Tunisia-France 2003; ‘La Trilogie: On The Run, An Amazing Couple, After Life’, written and Directed by Lucas Belvaux, France-Belgium 2002; and ‘Retrospective: Henri-Georges Clouzot’.
