ATG Partners With Vidcheck

ATG Broadcast has signed a channel partnership agreement with Vidcheck, provider of software for automated quality control and correction of video and audio in file-based media.
"This continues our strategy of offering advanced products to the broadcast and post-production market," says ATG Broadcast Product Sales Manager Chris Elson.
"Vidcheck delivers very powerful media-file analysis solutions which closely complement AmberFin's iCR products as the best solution to meet the requirements of the Digital Production Partnership's file-based programme delivery standard. We are also promoting the products combined or separately in the Middle East."
Vidcheck produces a software-only automated quality control package that measures the parameters and settings when preparing and exchanging file-based content.
'Check-and-correct' functionality can analyse video and audio file parameters and then automatically correct parameters such as out-of-specification luma, chroma and RGB gamut.
The software incorporates audio loudness checking based on ITU-R 1770 (to ATSC and EBU recommendations).
It can also automatically correct audio peak levels and loudness levels and includes testing for photo-sensitive epilepsy in accordance with the Ofcom specification.
ATG Broadcast offers a range of services including workflow-design, project-planning, equipment installation, software-configuration, commissioning, documentation, on-site training plus ongoing support and maintenance.
