International Media Festival For Prevention Announced

The International Media Festival for Prevention will run next year from 24 - 27 August within the framework of the XX World Congress on Safety and Health.
The Festival provides a platform for ideas and exchange, as well as an opportunity for companies to present their products to an international public of experts in safety and health at work.
Clients and producers have the opportunity to obtain international feedback from all around the world.
"Films and multimedia applications are vital instruments of safety and health at work," a statement from the Festival said.
"Whether for the purpose of increasing risk awareness on the part of employees or providing information on comprehensive safety topics: moving images support the transfer of knowledge.
"Media makers have to keep up-to-date since viewing habits and technological developments are constantly changing. What is happening today? What are the trends? How do other countries convey prevention messages? The International Media Festival for Prevention provides answers to these interesting questions and gives a broader worldview."
The International Media Award for Prevention will be held at the event.
All media products relating to safety and health at work that have been produced since January 2010 are admitted.
