Qatar News Agency Employs Artec System

News Image
Qatar's leading news agency has commissioned Germany's artec technologies AG to provide a new TV/Radio recording and information system.
The system will enable the agency's editors to generate information from more than 200 TV and radio broadcasters, before forwarding onto the country's governmental agencies and dignitaries in real time.
The new modules offer integrated mobile TV solutions for providing worldwide accessibility for closed user groups.
This makes it possible for the users across the world to call up TV programs originating in their regions, either in real-time or with time shifting. In addition, through special display characteristics and search functions, individual broadcasts can be located within seconds and immediately called up.
"We have been providing the agency with state-of-the-art technology since 2006. The present expansion demonstrates their continuing confidence in our products and system solutions with the contract worth approximately 2 million Euros," said Thomas Hoffmann, director, artec technologies AG.
"Our new, mobile-TV-based solutions are exciting for both our present and future customers and we anticipate additional contracts in the near future."
