Cobham Appoints China Distributor
RF company Cobham has announced the signing of Beijing-based Century Sage Scientific (CSS) as its new distributor in the region.
CSS is the largest distributor of broadcast systems and technologies in China.
Vice President of Marketing Alex So said: "CSS has been very impressed by the technological leadership demonstrated by Cobham in the field of wireless camera transmission systems, especially the outstanding latency performance of the new H.264 HD transmission systems.
"We expect the new partnership to lead to significantly increased revenues and market share for both CSS and Cobham in the China market."
Cobham’s Broadcast Systems Director Stuart Brown added: "CSS is a knowledgeable, highly respected distributor that has the added strength of award-winning, in-depth expertise in system design, integration and deployment. We are very pleased that our range will be backed by the respect that CSS has in China and beyond and look forward to working with them to further strengthen our presence in this vast and very important market."
CSS will carry Cobham’s complete range of products, including the new Solo Micro HD; a matchbox-size, full HD transmitter that employs MPEG encoding.
